Another nutrient rich food list

Andrea referenced this site about the world's healthiest foods in a previous comment. I just wanted to say that from what I've seen, I really like the info on this site. Their list also gives me more to focus on.
I encourage readers to go take a look.
Thanks Andrea!

I would love to grow potatoes for you up here - come on over for the harvest! :) My squash always get squash bugs so I don't get much of that - How do we get the tomatoes to produce before Sept.-so it doesn't interfere with the start of school? Lisa

We have struggled with squash bugs in the past. Early in the season, look under the leaves, you will see little eggs that are like hard pin heads in a group. Scrape them off into a cup of soapy water, and any bugs you find along the way. Keep doing this throughout the summer. It's the best way to get rid of them.
The best tomatoes and the paste tomatoes do seem to hit their peak in September. Lisa, I know you homeschool. There is no law that says you have to start in September. You can start and stop whenever you want. Do school in August on those hot afternoons. Stop for a few weeks to do the garden harvest. Start up again in October.
Tell me how you get big potatoes?
Last year we ate potatoes like crazy starting in August until we couldn't find anymore in the fall. They were delicious! But we didn't have any large potatoes and I didn't grow enough to store for the winter. I would really like to grow 100 pounds of really large potatoes for storage. I'm going to study this out and give it a good try this year. I'll take any advice.
